A terrible car crash happened on Friday, killing a 37-year-old father of one. Matthew Kelly, also known as Matt Kelly, died in an automobile accident on March 10, 2023.

At about 12:05 in the morning, the event happened close to the Oso Parkway in the east. Early on Friday morning, the Jeep the Rancho Mission Viejo man was riding in crashed into a traffic post and a light pole. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Initial investigations, according to sources, showed that the 37-year-old was driving a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee east on Oso Parkway at a high rate of speed.

According to CHP Officer Rafael Reynoso, the Jeep turned to the right for an unclear reason, striking a moving traffic sign before crashing into a light pole. The victim passed away from his wounds at the scene of the collision, Rafael continued.
