Jameer Nelson (born February 9, 1982) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for Saint Joseph's University and was drafted in the first round of the 2004 NBA draft by the Denver Nuggets but was traded to the Orlando Magic the same day. Nelson spent ten seasons with Orlando before signing with the Dallas Mavericks in 2014.
