Local musician Jarin Thomas Cole,22, also known as JC Stringz, has passed away.

The family of Jarin Thomas Cole, commonly known as JC Stringz, claims that he was well-known for his God-given talents, contagious smile, enormous heart, and generous nature.

Cole began playing with the Greater Vision Community Church Band at 14. He was a senior at the Berklee School of Music in Boston and was set to graduate in May 2024. He had attended Harker Heights High School in Killeen ISD since the class of 2019 and was expected to do so again.

The actual cause behind his demise has yet to be revealed to the public by any officials. Information about the obituary will be shared soon.

He frequently performed for the patients of nearby nursing homes to bless others with his musical talent.

In Killeen, Texas, he established the yearly Blues Under the Stars Concert and raised funds for it via the generosity of local companies, friends, and family. The concert seeks to provide a cost-free, enjoyable event for the neighborhood.

Every November, Jarin plays his music for tips, then donates all his tips to a community member in need. He had donated to a young family dealing with cancer. He had donated to a young lady who was chosen to perform during a major college football game in Florida so that she could afford the trip.

Last November, he had his largest fundraiser to date. A fellow senior at his high school was involved in a horrific car accident. Jarin prayed for him and decided to raise money to help the student’s family during this terrible time.

In 90 minutes, he raised more than $1,000. Immediately following the event, Jarin delivered all the money to the family. Jarin Thomas Cole is truly an incredible kid.
