Police are looking into a fatal pedestrian collision on Friday morning involving a 32-year-old male.

According to police, Christopher Hugh Moran was killed while attempting to cross the northbound I-15 when he was hit by two vehicles.

The incident occurred around five in the morning on southbound I-15, south of Flamingo, according to the Nevada State Police.

According to the Nevada State authorities, at around five in the morning on Friday, authorities responded to a collision where a pedestrian may have been struck while crossing the roadway.

When the police arrived, they learned that an adult man had been struck by a semi-truck and a passenger car while crossing the road from west to east on the southbound side. According to the Nevada State Police, a bystander stopped to provide aid until help arrived. However, the man passed away from his wounds and was pronounced dead on the spot.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office identified the walker as 32-year-old Christopher Hugh Moran. The cause and manner of his passing were still unknown as of Friday.

According to police, traffic was detoured at Flamingo while southbound I-15 was permanently stopped.
